Slave - Theme for Windows Seven - x86 and x64 - by Guillen Design.I feel very happy and honored to receive the DD.

How to install
1. Install Universal Theme Patcher, make sure that UAC must be turned off
2. Copy and paste content of the folder 'Visual Style > Slave' (*.theme & folder) into C:WindowsResourcesThemes
3. To change the system files: use the program 'Windows Themes Installer' by kishan-bagaria kishan-bagaria.deviantart.com/…
4. Restart Windows & then select this theme in Personalize Menu

Thank you very much for this amazing visual style. I usually don´t care much for dark styles but when I saw this I had to try it, it´s basically perfect. However, I found a bug: In my startmenu I have disabled "Switch User", "Lock" and "Sleep", so they are normally greyed out. But in this startmenu they look very funky: [link]

I saw the picture on the link
In the picture there is a white shadow in the text
in the theme 'Slave' this shadow does not exist
this may be from another theme
or something linked to a modified file
I believe that restarting the system it will be resolved

Thanks for a quick reply. Restarting doesn´t help. I have tried many themes and Slave is the only one with this issue. Here´s how it looks with another dark theme called Dark Soft [link]

and applied the theme

Yes but I think you misunderstood me. I have DISABLED "Switch User", "Lock" and "Sleep" using registry tricks. They should be "greyed out" and not work if clicked on. Maybe that´s one small thing you have overlooked in "Slave"? In Dark Soft, the greyed out options are in black text and it looks good. If you install Dark Soft and compare your startmenu to mine, you will see that you have no black text options, that´s what I mean by disabled options

I still love your theme, but when I open google chrome, there is a line of about 30x1 pixels in the top right corner of the screen so that when I overshoot the close button, it doesn't close it. I can send you a screenshot if you want.

I ran universal theme patcher and now my windows dosn't boot -.-' I needed to recovery.. but i cant use the theme.. please help

When your windows start
keep hitting the F8 key
you will go into safe mode
and may re-access the Patcher
Open the patcher and go back to the original
Reboot and everything will be fine.

kinda noob at theme modding so i got a question, what does the shell32.dll do? i dont see any difference with the modded one installed, i did restart my computer after modding it.

GuillenDesign, nice theme. I've been looking for a Gnome Shell-like theme for Windows 7, but unfortunatley there seems to be none. On Windows, I use the taskbar on the top side of the screen and I would really like to have a theme which mimics Gnome Shell's top bar, with those rounded corners below, and everything else. Also, the Adwaita theme for Windows, of course, to complete the pack. Have you ever seen such things? Or, maybe, would you consider making such themes for Windows? Thanks, man. Your theme rocks!

ok i have solved replacing manually the files!!! WindowsThemesInstaller seems is not compatible with x64 systems !!! Only one question: Have you modded windows icons too?
