The race is named Subrosian(s) from the game The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. The original Japanese name for the race in early part of the production was Uura before the game was released and that's why I named this one Uura, as to pay tribute for the original Japanese name. Many of the names for races and characters are almost better in their original beta-form. I liked Fi when her name was Adel, then it was changed to the American pronunciation of Phi and when the game came out it ended up being Fi. I do like Fi now more than Adel. In Spirit Tracks Staven was originally Byrne and I'm glad that they changed that because Staven sounds better.

ah that's their name, I knew it started with an "S", I just couldn't remember it :-P And I agree on the name changing; if the original name sounds better than the new name, the game developers should just keep it. Especially instead of giving characters weird names in place of the original cool name.
