One of my #1 favorite TV shows of all time.I don't own Beast Wars or Transformers, but I did come up with the question.

Its mostly an issue of space time they weren't aware of. Transwarp is basically like using a inter dimensional wormhole instead of a FTL drive, you can travel back to the past of a different future or travel into the future from a different past, its a total crap shoot

It's a kids show. The question is supposed to be funny. Great show, bad science fiction.
*edit* I just happened to notice what looked like a big plot-hole to me. I don't see how the trans-warp rift explains anything. It doesn't put them in another dimension, it moves objects through space and time, and in this case, they were transported to Earth somewhere between 2,000,000 - 2,500,000 BCE. And we should have known it was Earth because the planet is full of Earth's animals, and not alien ones. Sharks and alligators, have remained largely unchanged for at least 65 million years (probably more). Gorillas have been around for about 10 million years. Early Cheetahs about 2 - 2.5 million years. And they knew what their animal forms were! That's how they picked their names, Cheetor, Rattrap, Rhinox, etc.
Instead, we had to wait for the fake moon to be destroyed (they already knew the moon was hollow because they scanned it during the first season) and for Dinobot to ponder on the golden disks within the first couple episodes of season 2. Because apparently a planet with one moon and a golden disk must be Earth (sarcasm).
