Description A quick pic of Ruby Rhod, the greenest DJ in the cosmos and everyone's favorite manwhore from "The Fifth Element." As my favorite character from one of my favorite movies, it was only a matter of time before I drew him.

Since a poorly-drawn rendition of him isn't enough, enjoy some RR goodness: "All Night Long!" , "A perfect replica of the old Opera House...BUT WHO CARES?!" , and the all-important "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!"

Unfortunately, those aliens also sneaked an even bigger bomb on board that eventually destroyed the entire ship...I guess bomb detectors don't exist in the future

"Corbin, my man!"
Not only was his opening scene perhaps the greatest character introductions ever captured on film, but the fact that you took it upon yourself to actually DRAW him... mad respects. (or is it 'mad props' these days?)

Damn, man! i dig that this reminds me of the style in which you present your other sci fi human character drawings, particularly the Jedi (plural without the 's'. right?) right down to the fact that he's holding his mic in the way you might expect a Jedi to wield a light saber. Well, on second thought, a Jedi would lose his/her hand holding a lightsaber that far up, but whatever. the light kinda reminds me of a dark Sith aura. or Jin Kazama from Tekken

"Ruby Rhod... still alive."
you rock! so good to see more art from you!

"Every five minutes there's somethin' a bomb or somethin'! I'm leaving...BZZZZZ!"

Thanks man! This is pretty much the style in which I draw all humans, so even though this was kind of a rush job I'm not surprised it looks familiar. The "aura" was actually just to make him stand out better against the similarly-colored background, though him being magical would explain a few things about him.

"...and they ugly!"

whoa. your explanation of the aura... that really makes perfect sense! I kinda wish i had read that two days ago. Oh well, lesson learned.

Yeah, magic would explain why anyone found him charismatic in the first place. and that haircut. ^^
