A doodle I did of Garfield, one of my favorite cartoon characters growing up. I'm okay at imitating the way Jim Davis and his assistant artists draw him, but I wanted to try and give drawing him in my style a try. What do you think?Garfield belongs to Jim Davis and Paws Inc.

Oho? Thats one of the things I love about art is that its so influential and everyone takes bits of dozens of other artists' styles and pieces them together with their own over time weather its on purpose or subconscious. And its cool when you can see that influence in someone's work.

Needs more of a bored expression IMO. Garfield has his eyes half closed most of the time.

I didn't plan on coloring this. I did however think about doing Odie in my style next.
