My first prop hand that I made for a webseries I Keyed about a year ago called Space Janitors!I want to make more of these !

Sorry for the late reply! These can be pretty pricey, as they are labour intensive and the materials are expensive, Β depending on the kind of materials and size it would be $500 and up.

Could one be rigged with mechanics to function as Β a prosthetic?Β

If it has mechanics it then becomes an animatronics. Which is another different craft in itself, but still similar.

I did a cast of my dad's hand with a product called alginate, once that was cured, popped his hand out, and then filled it with silicone. I made sure to get the silicone down into the fingertips. This was my first one ever...there's so much I could have done differently, etc. But it worked out!
