Lisa looked at her look-alike. "You have no reflection in the water - you don't even cast a shadow!"

This has been sitting around for a few days, and needs a bit of explanation. For Halloween I did a similar pic, Treehouse of Horror: Image in the Mirror by Gulliver63 on DeviantArt and wanted to do more in a series. About a week ago I ran across a still from the movie "The Golden Voyage of Sinbad" and just had to do something with it. The Sinbad picture was slightly different - it was prophecy of the future, but I loved the hell out of the image. The story that I wanted to express was about Lisa finding out about herself, and ending up being a better person because of it. Who better to tell her about herself than, well, herself. But the whole experience is nerve-wracking, as her new "friend" can't be seen or heard by anyone else, or even cast a shadow on the floor. This is a private conversation between the two of them, nobody else. And there will be no shortcuts in this journey.
