Description Orlando Bloom as Legolas, in pencil and charcoal.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to draw him because so many people do and he's kinda overrated, but I found this picture and I'd never seen anyone draw it before. I thought he looked kinda cute in it anyway. After staring at it sense August, I have changed my mind; I want to burn all the reference pictures because I am so sick of them.

My drawing has tons of issues and the scanner once again butchered it, but for a first attempt with charcoal I'm fairly happy with it. Mostly I'm just happy that it's done

and your comment about his expression really means a lot to me, since I spent so long drawing this, I can't see it detachedly enough to know what his expression is like. but that is exactly how I hope it would be.

I'm sure your drawing isn't that bad, and I'd love to see it once its finished!!

I've tried but it was too smudgy for me... I am kind of messy lol but it's great for shading! It doesn't get all shiny like graphite, it's just harder to do little details with...
