Phyll
Phyll is an Octarian who had gone through a lot of testing and experiments, though at the last moment he was able to escape from sanitation and has been hiding from Tartar and the other octolings for some time now. Phyll is much smarter than he lets on/seems and knows the facility pretty well due to exploring it often as well as the metro. Parts of his body such as his tentacles and arms are obviously sanitized though not fully. The sanitation has affected his ability to think and parts of his memory. He doesn't remember much of his life before the lab except for a few things and his ability to process information has been dulled a bit and he tends to dissociate when his attention isn't kept for a while, though despite this he is still pretty smart and capable enough to survive on his own in such a dangerous place.

The tentacles on his head are capable of picking things up and holding them as an extra pair of hands and he does this when looking through stuff or moving things around his little hideout around the metro. His ability to speak has not been affected and can do so just fine. Nowadays Phyll takes care of forgotten plants that have never been seen before as he has come to enjoy taking care of them quite a lot. He hates fighting and loud sudden noises and can get overwhelmed easily in busy places such as Inkopolis, for example.

Phyll is content with being in quieter spots where he can enjoy his own company as well as his plants. This doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy being around others, he's just not used to it but would definitely be curious about others that are friendly towards him. Phyll is not used to physical contact either, at least not positive physical contact, so he would have to get used to the other a bit. He stands at around 6 ft. Phyll would probably be a good botanist with his own shop one day! Hopefully these unseen plants can spread far in time.
