I could explain this, but what's to explain? Kavin was building this ship in homage to a "Star Trek" Parody called "Galaxy Quest." The nacelles were (too) short (?) so I extended them. (I know they need a little more work. I ain't perfect, either.) The Bridge of the ship was modded too (the lights only), but there's a difference in the size (height) of the bridge when I worked on it (you can thank the grid-line selection on MSPaint).Anyway...the credits:
Kavinveldar for the Protector NCC (or NTE)-3120 and the parts
Myself for the mods (thereabouts)

I think it looks great! Some starfleet ships would surely be designed by other races.
On another note, i think it would also look good with a saucer section, no neck, but attached directly to the hull.

If you look at the lights on the nacelles a second time, you will notice that you've done goofed and the lights on the saucer also do not match. If you are going to fix up some of the less noticeable things, why not fix the more noticeable ones?
