I'd thought about it. But after doing other Ent era ships, I decided to hold off a while, as they were over designed, detail wise.

Overdesigned....yeah the Delta has wee bit too much, though I can't say the same for the Emette. Anyways you could either grin and bare it or you could simplify them into say their TOS and/or TMP versions.
I'd say do the latter and see how they turn out, if they turn out nicely you could do the ENT versions sometime later (possibly way later)

I also find myself partial to this ship as well. Though I don't much care for the nacelle fins. They always looked over done. two small ones toward the tip would have looked better.

Yes, its one of the many things they could have done better with Enterprise.
But the most glaring flaws in the show were the Dr Who plot line ripoff, bad writers and staring Scott Bakula as John Archer.

I like Scott Bakula. I think he really came into his own during the second and third seasons (especially third). You really got see the character evolve throughout the series. It really should have gone longer. Season 5 would have been epic.

Oh please, the show was a train wreck before the first episode was aired. What killed the show was that it was thinly veiled social propaganda. While all previous incarnations of Star Trek had elements of social commentary, where questions are posed, points of view expressed, but no definitive answers given unless said answer is self evident. Enterprise was holey polluted from day one with a heavy handed socio-political narrative.Β
The theatrical arts are meant to challenge our understandings. Social commentary properly balanced with a good story and strong characters well matched to the roles they fill are what make good theater. But when the writers push a social narrative, it ceases to be theater and become propaganda. Which I Hate!
Scott Bakula was a week actor to play the character he was cast in, but good writers and the right story can make up for a lot of casting sins. As for a lot of the other characters, it was far more the way the character was written and the actors directed that made them uninteresting or ill suited for the role they filled. And because of that, the audience, primarily NON-Trek fans, had a hard time finding any common ground with them.
If the audience can't find common ground, they don't connect with the characters. If they can't connect with the characters, they lose interest in what happens to them, they lose interest in the story and go watch another show. Which is why Enterprise had such weak ratings and ultimately was canceled.Β
