ok sorry this has such a retarded title.this isn't supposed to look at all like rose's titanic's pose (hahaha oh god the image) but it turned out this way. i wanted to make the surrounding areas black, but then this happened:
me: -looks at white area-
me: -looks at pencil-
me: ah, nevermind.
in other words i got lazy so white space it is!
also this is supposed to be sherlock (who else do i draw these days) but i kinda did it half from my imagination/memory and half from 3 references, so i know it doesn't look quite exactly like him, but it's not based 100% on a reference either like most of my other drawings. trying something new, blablah. i don't think it screwed up that badly, lol.
cross hatching is incredibly fun although i'm still far from mastering it...HB, 4B, A4 print paper, photoshop contrast/levels/curves
