I don't appreciate all the trolling and SJW pandering articles, though I did reconcile Tifa's smaller chest size as partly due to the graphics engine that's used in the remake. Similar to how the engine for Resident Evil 2 remake made things more realistic, thus the proportions had to follow proper dimensions.
