This is the first ever "C-19" class locomotive I have ever drawn. And even if I do say so myself I think it's pretty darn good!!The look of the loco is pretty much as it would have appeared while in service on the Denver & Rio Grande Western RR durring the late 1940s. The only exception being the Box headlight and "phony" old timer smoke stack. But I felt the "look" of this had a certain charm and thus I kept with it.
As much as I like this version of the loco it still may look a little too "Late" for my tastes and I am drawing a "Early" to "Intermediate" version of this loco which will be more accurate, historically, mechanincally, and visually.
In any case I hope you like it! A color version is in the works! I hope you like it!

Looks like the locos in the movie, The Denver & Rio Grande, minus the Dynamo generator between the steam dome and the cab. Speaking of which, is it going to be in the Bumble Bee paintjob?

Well I have to admit that this locomotive IS inspired from that film.
As for the color scheme I'm actually going with a "Russian Iron" style... sort of.
The boiler will be a deep blue with brass bands, black wheels w/ white tires, black domes with gold trim and livery, and brown cab.

I think the box headlight fits right in, but not so much the stack.
