great story and artwork bud, i especially like the armored ponies. the armor is different than that of the royal guards which is how it should be seeing as how their armor would be more for ceremonial purposes or looks since they mostly just stand around canterlot or beside the princess.

wanted something more functional for the troops advanced and the first line, I imagine that the kind of uniform of the royal guard was to rank high as well,
