When Simon Petrikov purchased the strange crown from an old dock worker in Northern Scandinavia, he didn't know that it belonged to a forgotten and vicious boreal monarch whose curse would be going to twist him into the fool Ice King!Adventure Time, dude!

I wouldn't say he was really a villain then either, more like a minor antagonist who was more obnoxious than dangerous.

well some times in the show's first part was actually dangerous (50% power 50% being emotionally unstable) and well yes i'd say a antagonist but not a minor, at least cause he was the stable one and not the "bad of the day" .
I'd say the most serious bad guys in AT (not in order) should be uhm the Lich, the freak Deer, Ricardio, probably Goliad. Uhm can't think of others, it's too hot today xD. Uh even Little Dude possessing a Gumball Guardian and acting like the Immortal warrior of Nausicaa was heavy business lol
