wip: work in progress for those of you who don't know ^3^yuppers...as I was eating lunch at baker's square with a couple of my friends as a celebration for surviving day one of finals, my friend amanda got out her sketch pad and said that she needed to practice backgrounds more. that made me want to practice backgrounds, too. I think this might be the best background I've done so far (pretty sad, huh?) :3

THIS IS SO COOL. Ok now listenlisten. That little transparency button should lock the layer, but I'm not positive. Anyway, you should like... draw the tree and stuff and then make a new layer and scribble all over where the tree is. Make sure that the color you're using is darker than the section of the tree you're scribbling on XD Then you blure the scribbles, and if you can in that version of OC, make it a little transparent. HA bark detail 8D That's how I do it~ It's extreemly easy XD I can't wait to see this when it's finnished 8D ZOMG if you need help with it email it to me 8DD *spazzspazzspazz* I can help I think. I dunno if that would open as a OC file or not XD; Hrmm. I need backround practice too :< OH AND BEFORE YOU START PAINTING the backround is a little lopsided XD;; I dunno if that was intended or not.
