I have no idea how this will turn out on dA...

um...I finished watching tales from earthsea (gedo senki in japan) a couple of nights ago. I didn't understand the majority of the movie (still in japanese, no subtitles. what? I was incredibly bored so I watched it), but I did understand the jist of the plot (and some words and phrases XD )
-SPOILERS-
I had an idea for this picture right after. basically, the guy in the center is the main character (arren). he is emo. and a frightened person. but I like him. anyway, he kills his dad (the king, which makes him the prince) and steals his sword and runs away on his llama. he is attacked by wolves (with hooves. yes, hooves. just like his llama) and is saved by ged (gedo. like gedo senki) who is on the right of the picture. things happen in the movie and then we get to cobb (kumo) who is on the left. she's evil. and creepy. her head is malformed (really pointy at the top). but she gets a hold of arren and puts him in a trance and makes him attack ged. ged dodges the sword and traps arren's arms in a tight grip. then he hugs him and says something that I couldn't understand and arren snaps out of it and starts crying (he cried a lot. boogers were even comin' out. he looked miserable).

so basically this picture is about who has more control over arren, though ged just wants to help him have free will...so basically the right side is the better side, the side of freedom.

if you didn't read the spoiler part, then here's the names of the characters from left to right: cobb (kumo in the movie), arren, and ged (gedo in the movie).

cobb, arren, ged, and the earthsea series belongs to ursula k le guin
the movie is studio ghibli's (directed by goro miyazaki, hayao miyazaki's son)
