Well...yeah.
No More Heroes comes out in Japan in about five days, and I've been obsessing with the game ever since it's trailer appeared on IGN about a year ago. One of the things I learned is Heroes' relevance to social issues, and Suda 51 opted to name many of his characters after people or things. For instance, psycho dominatrix Sylvia Christel is named after a Dutch soft-core porn star, Helter Skelter is named after a Beetles album with ties to Charles Manson, and then there's the above image. Turns out, Travis Touchdown, whos name might be inspired by a famous football player's nickname Touchdown Travis, is modeled after one of my favorite dudes of all time, Jackass star Johnny Knoxville!! Yep, and this is nothing more than a comparison shot between the two. I'm not sure if I used the greatest pics, and if others decide to follow suite I don't really care, but at least I was the first!! Ha ha!! Aside from the images themselves, Travis may be a little screwed up in body portions as he got a little screwed up while being brought into flash...but that's about it. Hopefully I'll be able to scan a sketch tomorrow. I'm also working on, sadly, a fan fic that's for school, of all things. But whatever, merry Christmas!!
