Description
I love dragon and this is getting closer to my dream dragon. The proportion is right and I like the long tail. The next upgrade should be spines followed by scales.Paper: Japanese foil (gold) of 50cm square size.
Credits: Satoshi Kamiya's new book, I shaped the legs of my dragon according to his ancient dragon model, it has a very efficient method of narrowing thick points.
As always comments and suggestions are welcomed

Thank you very much for your compliment greatly appreciated
Unfortunately doing that would be disasterous, since the gold layer detatch from the paper easily especially if folded extensively. Besides, I don't have a photo studio or good photography knowledge to take pictures of shiny objects as gold dragon is. I tried golden rooster using the idea you mentioned, not very impressive once photographed

I think i just died.
That is lovely. @-@; Did you come up with this yourself and just got tips from the book you mentioned? Or did you get it from the book? If so... how much is this book? xP

This book I mentioned, cost 52 US dollar and worth buying even if you don't know how to fold, because it is just so damn beautiful. The book has a dragon diagram in it and it has 260 steps in total. It was too difficult to finish without tearing the paper so I decided to make a simple dragon but should roughly be as impressive as the one on the book

How did you-...I can't make orgami for my life. Kudos to you! I love these little guys you're making. Fwee, it's so cute! I would hug it but I'd probably end up crushing it and that wouldn't be nice. So I think I'll admire it from afar.

It is very small, I can almost put all of them can stand on top of my palm but because I paint them to preserve the paper, most are quite rigid and spiky

That is amazing. How big is it?
You based the legs off of a design in a book, but did you just create the rest? Like, through trial and error or something?

oo this came out very well *_*, also chose a perfect paper as the gold adds great accent to the dragon.
