Description
The aim of origami to catch the essence of an object using geometrical shape
Here I try to catch the essence of a mouse from its long tail, round hip, a pair of ears and pointed nose. A minimalistic approach!I like the locking mechanism I discover to form the rounded hip and allowing the model to be cleanly finished, it even looked nice from below
From a duo color 15cm square origami paper.
I promise something more complex next time

I just thought of something: how big is the actual mouse?

It is roughly 10cm from nose to tail tip when folded using standard 15cm square origami paper

Stick some electrics in it and that would make a cool mouse.

sometimes complex just isn't the way to go. I love the simplicity of this one and the sense of total completion it brings to it. You know when you look at it that there is no way it can be improved, it is finished.

That is the most adorable origami anything I have ever seen.
This has already been said, but it does look a bit like a computer mouse. Makes one realize why they're called that.

Smooth. It's a mouse - a well-folded mouse. Nicely done. It looks ready to scuttle across a 60's sitcom kitchen floor and scare the stereotypical wife onto her chair. And I love those ears and the nose.
I can't wait for the day I could possibly fold something of my own!

Its cute. It looks a lot like the mouse that you use with a computer and really... it looks nice, I especially like how the color changes, makes it easier to distinguish the folds and the art. Its cute. Keep up the great work guspath! =3
