patlabor robots are so sleek and sexy, better than gundams.

Hehe... thank you This is my favourite patlabor, tried to make origami version of it from one square but failed. Maybe next time I have to use multiple paper
Thank's for coming by and commenting

Hehe... this one is old, but it can be played like an action figure, too bad it doesn't look like a patlabor

Nice. I love the master grade gundam kits, so many pieces @_@.

You should try perfect grade But then, you have to paint it and it is all too much work
I usually just do master grade at most and fill in the black lines using gundam pen, it gives enough detail for me

I would try one, but I hate painting models and they cost alot ^_^. I have 3 master grades, Gundam RX78-2 ver1.5, GPO2A (my favorite gundam), and GPO3 Stamen.

Yes, buying all the paints cost a lot. I actually use Tamiya paint to fix my origami models but I usually use 1 bottle of paint for 3 models so it is cheap. Besides, I use 1 color for 1 model since I am not into decorating my models with various color, I would try to use color change folding to achieve that effect

Haha... no, this one is non-origami. But I like this model very much, I buy it cheap, as cheap as a high grade gundam toys but I get better quality. I use gundam pen to highlight the black lines especially the hand area.
I did attempt to create this patlabor a long time ago. I'll put it up later
How is your origami doing?

i'd wanna see that attempt!
my origami's rather terrible. i'll post some more original creations, mostly variants of crosses (yes, the ones in churches). i'm stuck trying to modify a rose pattern into a fully-bloomed one.

See what I mean, if you look at Gundam, they have smaller penis protector

I think is not as much as doing the protector bigger or smaller, but to simulate "segments" in it, to give it a more detailed look

Thank's for the comments and suggestion I am not very eager to re-visit this model, besides, it has already evolve into my demonman. I think if I really want to make another patlabor, this base is not good enough to cover up all the details necessary. Maybe I'll try to design another patlabor sometime in the future
