Description
these are the two newest additions to my collection. two polyphemus moths, a male (on the left) and a female (on the right)in person they have stunning, vibrant pink stripes on their wings, they are absolutely beautiful moths.
the female is about 5.5 inches across (her wings arent fully spread) and the male is a little under that. they are the biggest moths i have in my collection right now ^_^
i also found a cecropia moth but shes a little bit smashed up. e_e;
anywhoo. i really like this photo XD <3

well, I adore bats too, but for me it was far too up close & personal. he looked like a huge, fat, black roach with WINGS! :shudder: I get scared just thinking about it again. thankfully my boyfriend was with me so it was a team effort to get him back outside. no blood was shed on either end so it was a successful outcome, rotflmsfao!
I also had a freaking SQUIRREL get into my old apartment because I had a window without a screen on it & I lived on the basement level. now that was some fun times. I was pregnant & sick & he ran over absolutely everything, but what really skeeved me out was him running over my BED! I finally got him to go back out the damn window after what felt like hours chasing him & trying to "usher" him on his way. his claws were about a mile long & I was SO afraid that he would jump up & rip my face off!

Bad squirrel is bad. I love to chase 'em (used to since where I live now there are no squirrels). We do have mongoose though which can attack though none have beaten me yet. I chase them off. XD
