Interesting point of view. So you think he put a lot of effort to paint a samuraigirl with stuff in the background to draw our attention to the handle of a sword at the lower corner of the whole image?

The background has low contrast compared to the deep saturated red leggings, foot placement is appealing. Facial expression is not attention drawing. And every part of the painting takes its own effort. No matter if the girl was in the front or back it still is rendered. Take note to where your eyes are drawn to, and you'll get a feeling of where the artist wants your eyes directed something I learned from some well known artist podcast interviews. (Ian McCaig, bobby chiu, Ahmed Aldoori). It's amazing to know the amount of planning one takes into a piece. I admire Guweiz for that.

Yes I see your point but it doesn't work well for this image in my opinion but we can't argue about taste. Thank you for the refreshing and nice conversation
