well imho i think the part of the gun that facing away from the muzzle fire of kthe heavy bolter should be darker, no? i dont think the flare from the muzzle of the lasgun is enough to light the whole gun but maybe thats just my opinion?

I'd be lying if I said I used Gmod soley. I editted it in a program called GIMP.
Added some outlighting and some fog/smoke and Bingo, I had the shot.
