Description
The Rotten Blade is a vicious cursed sword, the thorns in its hilt perfurate the hand of the wielder, infecting him with it's disease. The user's flesh starts to rot, but at first it seems to make the user stronger. It's only when the swordsman tries to sheathe the blade the trick becomes obvious. The flesh begins to bleed and ache and itch and hurt, it's strength robbed by the sword, only to be given back while it's being used. when it cuts someone, the wounds become infected, and take longer to heal even with magic or alchemy. Meanwhile the user feels a high, their flesh feeling warm again. As the disease spreads through the body, so does the strentgh of the swordsman, their pleasure in combat, and their dependency in the blade. All wielders die the same way, rotten and covered in blisters, their body giving up the second the sword is taken away.
