Morrigan looks delightfully vulnerable and worried here! I always imagined that in her character select portrait, she was thinking about all the terrifying adversaries she was going to be facing in her upcoming struggle and hoping the player would pick her and help her along the way.

Ha Ha! That is so sweet of you to say, thank you! I am actually a sexist pig (at least, that's what the feminist types call me) pining for the days when women curtsied and cooked dinner for their men and looked to us (men) to protect and provide for them. Since women don't do that anymore (and when the occasional situation arises when they actually DO need a man to do that, they won't admit it) I look to fantasy art to provide scenarios in which sweet women look for heroic men to protect them and then throw their arms around us in thankfulness.
