So, wait... this ISN'T the actual ending? I beat the final boss and this was the first place I went to! There's actually somewhere ELSE you're supposed to go to and I just happened to find the easter egg FIRST!?

that is funny is that just a fan art or is this in the real game cus i beat the game befor and didnt see this or is it in one of the expanson packs?

Oh, it's in the real game.
After you beat the Makron, go back down to the little hideaway (the one you have to enter by stepping on pressure plates). You'll notice that there's a crack at the end of the hall that had the rocket ammo. Blow it up, climb down the ladder and you'll see an "interactive" gallery of the id Software development team. At the other end, you climb down the ladder and... well...
