Worked on this for a while. Here's all of his coats and markings through the seasons.
While I haven't decided on a name yet, I do know what he does. He lives in the tundra region in northern Russia. He mainly takes care of all the animals and makes sure no species is hunted too much. In the spring he gently wakes the hibernating animals, and in the fall he helps them find food to eat. During the winter he keeps the deer and caribou fawns warm during blizzards. With his wings he creates the Northern Lights. With his breath he creates the stars. The markings on his thighs keep track of the phases of the moon.
