Alright, here is the first application of my Grendel prosthetics for my Multi-piece Appliance class. I did the application on myself, which was rough, even with the considerable help of my talented girlfriend Redqueen2112, aka Jessi.The makeup consists of a baldcap, a face and neck piece, a lower lip piece and eye pieces. This is derfinitely the most extreme makeup I've done, and although I'm happy with it, I know I can do better.
I used a rubber latex baldcap, foam latex appliances and PETG vacu-formed eye pieces. It's all painted with a combination of PAX and RMGP. It took about 5 hours to apply, which was rough becuse I was practically blind and forced to breath through my mouth.
Even though I did the application 2 days ago, I'm still picking prosaide of me. Yuck.
Despite all this, it was a rewarding experience to finally see my vision come to life after spending 6 months on this project.

If you ever have any photographs of your prosthetics/make-up work that you want touched up, like having backgrounds removed, colours enhanced, or anything like that, just give me a shout. As long as there's plenty of space to work with around the subject of the image, it's easy enough to make it look like it was part of a professional shoot.

dont be to hard on yourself, while I know nothing about makeup and the work you do, I do know that what you learn and practice here will serve you well in the future. Of course, if your anything like me, I dont want to be patient to get to the future...i want to do it now!

Thanks, but unfortunately the make-up has little movement to it. To distort my face to this extreme I had to make the foam real thick, so its pretty hard to move. I'm happy with the design, but I'm getting sick of its impracticality. Well, lesson learned.
