Another Black canary pic, but this time she's joined by comicdom's first costume heroine -- the original Black Cat! Created in 1941 by Harvey Comics -- better known for their characters Casper the Friendly Ghost among others --she was actress Linda Turner who became the masked Black Cat when she suspected her director of being a Nazi spy. She had no super powers, but still proved formidable in her own right.Art was a black and white piece by Jeff Moy. Colors by me.

Hehe, more Black Cat fans, that`s good to know! I always thought her story was pretty compelling, too bad the comic ended... Even though my parents were probably children during Black Cat`s original adventures, I cannot help but feel for these past characters who had a lot of heart in their making, unlike today`s 'stone-cold realism' angsty 'heroes'...
