Another interesting team-up. I'd love to see the Stranger and Daredevil to get into a discussion about morals, faith and doing the right thing. And adding the Avengers (Captain America, Hercules and the Black Widow) would only make things more interesting.Daredevil art by Gene Colan and Al Milgrom

He was a favorite of mine on Iron Man, Daredevil and the his wonderfully spooky and moody Tomb of Dracula title. Did you see the pic I colored by Gene where DC's Captain Marvel fought Dracula? I think it's one of the best images I've ever colored.

The Gene Colan Captain Marvel art is magnificent. I've never been fully satisfied with my attempts at drawing Captain Marvel where I've based him on Tom Taylor from the movie serial, I've tried drawing Jackson Bostwick and John Davey from the TV show, but it's always missing something.
But I have a plan to draw character designs of the Marvel Family using photos of Fred MacMurray as my model for Captain Marvel's face since I read that he is who C.C. Beck based the original Cap's features on. And I'll use Tom Tyler for his figure and costume. I think Fred MacMurray will be the secret ingredient to capturing Captain Marvel's profile and charm. I'm thinking of young Judy Garland as my model for Mary Marvel, and maybe young Bill Mumy in Lost in Space as my model for Captain Marvel Jr. And I've got to have Tawky Tawny in there. For him I guess I'll use a tiger's head and some big guy in a suit for his figure. I'm not sure who yet. Hmm
