Description
So you all know about my fascination with obscure heroes, and the Fab 4 certainly meets that criteria. Originally published by Dell Comics during the Batmania of the late 1960s, these four heroes were teenagers that through a comic book accident found that they could transfer their minds into four super-powered androids. The four are El (short for electromagnetic -- the one with "L" on his chest) could shoot various beams from his eyes including x-rays, lasers, infra-red, etc. Hy (the one in the red) had hypersonic powers that he controlled via his helmet. Crispy (the bald guy in the blue) had cryogenic powers ala Iceman from the X-Men. And Polymer Polly (the only female) could fly (because she was frictionless), had great strength and could spin webs made of polymer filament. Each android was strong and somewhat resistant to damage and two -- El and Polly -- were faster than the others. These hapless heroes only lasted four issues.Doomsday of course hopefully needs no introduction.

I think all four have some potentisl but it would take alot to make them more accessable. El always reminded of Supermans vision powers.
