Two perennial favorites of mine. The Defenders in all of their incarnations have been an off-beat team, whether it was the original team, Misty Knight's group or the TV grouping. And really any team with the Hulk in it has to be weird. Shown here are Namor, Hellcat, Nighthawk and the Hulk.

Firestorm also has been reinterpreted a number of times, but I'm partial to two: the original two-men-in-one matter transformer and the fire elemental shown here. John Ostrander and Tom Mandrake's reworking of the Firestorm myths was a fun comic to read. That creative team was also responsible for great runs on the Spectre and Martian Manhunter. All recommended if you can find them.
