Lovely lighting and shading, very dramatic! Especially the eyes. As a tip: It seems that you have used a base color and then shaded with black/ set highlights with white if IΒ΄m not mistaken. It might be a good idea to vary the color of the shading a bit, since this can produce even more impressive effects. E.g. reddish lighting and greenish shadows maybe? A tint usually suffices.Β
The pose and the picture in general is very energetic though. Good work!

oh thanks wuhu kritik and a compliment ^-^
yes using more colours for shading and highlights often adds a dramatical effect and can make a picture cold or warm.
i was a bit to scared of trying it out this time.
the highlights have a slightly orange touch, the shadow is indeed black.
choosing colours for the shadow and the highlights is always a little risk, which you have to take to improve.
i also wasn't sure which one would really have been fitting for the shading.

YouΒ΄re welcome ^^
Do you have a painting program?
I can completely relate to not wanting to mess up a picture.
With a program you could try around a bit without chance of failure.
