ethers8, this was 6X7 film, with a 2 stop ND Grad. That was how I was able to hold the intense color of the sky
...it was pretty much done in the scan, levels (Black point, white point), slight curves adjustment, tweak hue (film color cast). Brought into photoshop, checked levels and bumped sat. Not counting the scan (5 minutes to warm the Rube Goldberg antique Minolta scanner) next 10 minutes turning it on and off to get it to work, 15 minutes for the scan, I spent maybe 4 minutes on the processsing.

Where on earth was this taken? That's one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. It must have been breathtaking to stand there and see it with your own eyes.
