Hmm, well I have an interest in the occult and magic. So I decided to try my luck with a pentacle. Each point of a pentacle represents an element, and each element has a coloured gem. (Starting at top, going clockwise) Spirit(Purple or White gem), Air(Yellow gem), Earth(Green gem), Fire(Red gem), and Water(Blue Gem).Pencil+Pen+Prismas

It's not the order I would of put them in but there are so many variations . To each his/her own and long may we remain Individuals free to express the Elements how we see them at any given time. It's inspirational makes me want to try my hand at a similar piece.

I love, love, LOVE this design for a tattoo! I was wondering though, could it be adjusted so that water & earth extended out a bit more? It would look more balanced that way.

So, I feel I should thank you. About 4 years ago I asked my then husband to do an elemental pentacle tattoo on the center of my chest for me. He brought me this design and said "this is what he had come up with." Well, I never asked where he got it because I assumed he had drawn like had done with the rest of my tattoos to that point. I didn't realize that he go it here on deviant art. Anyway, I have this exact design tattooed on the center of my chest and everyone who ever sees it, always tell me how gorgeous it is. I need to have some touch up on it, and I am going to have some things added around it and what not, but since you designed the center piece, I might have to have you finish the design for me. I apologize that my ex-husband stole it, but I really do love that tattoo and would love to have you finish it up for me if you wouldn't mind.

i absolutly love it!! 
i especially love Earth, and i would have never thought to of put a wing for Air.
One more thing though, i completely hate to critisize your drawing, but you have the elements in the wrong order. Clockwise from the top it goes: Spirit, Water, Fire, Earth and Air. I still love it though!

Oh, pretty... *cue ten minutes of shocked silence* Let's see... clockwise, we have air, earth, fire, water, and at the twelve-o-clock position... um... *reads commentary* Oh, spirit! ...Yeah. Spirit. I knew that... I think my favorites are Air and Earth. They're my favorite elements anyways, but you've represented them really well. I would have just done swirly wind things for Air, I would never have thought of a wing... That's really cool. And of course, Earth is just damn pretty.

I dunno... I'd come up with some kind of background for it (maybe something simple, since the image is so detailed) then enlarge the size? I think it would just fine off-center on white with a shadow and some kind of border. I bet you could come up with something better, though. *g*
