Description Why did I do this?
It started as one of those strange ideas I get, but it turned in to system stress test.
I recently upgraded my computer to Windows 10 and wanted to see how it could handle a really resource intensive picture.
The result?
Adding in an equally resource heavy light system limits it to 31 figures before it starts crashing
But why cheerleaders?
Why not?
As for their expressions, They are all looking at someth the bottom row is "that's interesting", middle is "seen stranger", top is "meh", and Heath in the middle is "How did I get myself into this?"

I definitely see some reasons to cheer.

The redhead in front fourth from the right is wearing a different uniform.

She's a generation 4 figure, the rest are 5 and 6. The uniform wouldn't conform to her.

I see. Perhaps you would benefit from going to EvilInnocence.com and downloading the CrossDresser Software, and then buying the license for the figure you used for that character. There are licenses for nearly every Gen 4 and earlier figure; Including V4, A4, G4, SP4, and She Freak 4. These licenses give you the ability to fit clothing from other figures to the figure the license is for. You would need to download files for the from figures that have the clothing you want your chosen figure to wear, but that is free. Most licenses are near the $10.00 price range. Check it out, at least.

True, but our our pom-poms can be used as explosives. And after wrangling them into position I didn't feel like trying to customize their uniforms.

One of the hard parts about huge poly-dense scenes like this is getting everyone in place, I have the same problems getting everyone (that's supposed to be there) positioned down on the ground rather than floating above it or air walking. It is sooooo time consuming to attempt to move them. I have 32 GB also, and I have no clue how you even got them all posed at all!Β

Here's my secret;
Load your background and position it. Add in the first row of figures
Β Position them and lock their x, y, and z coordinates. Pose one of the as you want, then copy the pose and paste it on to the others. Delete the background and save the row of figures as it own scene.
repeat for each row of figures. Load the background for the fourth time then merge each of the other scenes on to it. You may have to do some tweaking to make it look right.
It takes forever to do but its worth it.

A very cool idea! I imagine that as long as the ground stay's zero'd in both scenes that it should work just fine. Good job!

I forgot to mention that once you have the background positioned as you want, save it as it's own scene before you add in any figures. Then keep reloading it to position the others.

Makes perfect sense, that way you don't have to deal with full memory load all the time. Very clever!

Amazing!
My record is only 16 figures with 8GB RAM, and I made all my Genesis figures Base resolution to render it in 20 minutes (looks OK in a long shot)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

gx-9901 In reply to pygfaust [2016-03-15 17:50:37 +0000 UTC]

It took 32gb to do this and about three hours to render. With less intensive lights my pre update best was 38 figures. Have to see if I can do that again with 10.

I don't want imagne how much work this was, 31 character in on picture is surrly a lot of work. But anyway... Good Job ^^

Thanks. Each row was a separate file that I had to adjust then combine them all together then try to smooth out any remaining problems.
