Yeah, 136 now.
I want to get to 150, but I don't think I can do any more. This makes my computer lag so much there's like a second and a half delay between clicking the mouse and it responding.

I did add a light above them, but when I increased the light intensity, it began washing out the color and details of the ships. This was the comprise setting I came up with.

Washing out? Is that necessarily so?
In my experience, you can shorten render times considerably,
simply by upping the amount of light: you get rid of fireflies sooner.
You render to .exr (high dynamic range) and then lower exposure, as you see fit.

The over light is set at .01%. If I increase it more the lighter ships start to loose their color. Klingon ships are a pain to light properly.

If you have an NVIDIA graphic card with CUDA, Iray is the way to go
(from DAZ Studio); otherwise, it’s painfully slow.
