I use watercolour pencils (and water. Pen is the easiest for anime but I prefer something with more work that looks just as good

Watercolour pencils with water have the same smooth texture as watercolour paints
unless you use layers and bright colour like I do, but that's only for anime.
I just like the way it looks. ^_^

I make my drawings into step-by-step youtube vids
straight lines aren't important when you've taken 60-70 shots and it's 2 in the morning

whatever. my cat has black fur but if the light hits it a certain way he looks brown. but no matter which way the light is he is still a black cat.
