"As if being weightless isn't bad enough, I'm locked in a sardine can. Why can't they pressurize these stupid tunnels? Making repairs would be so much easier if I wasn't wearing this damn suit."

As she floated along the access tunnel her stomach churned, something about being weightless always made her queasy. The same thought running over and over in her head, "Don't throw up in the helmet, don't throw up in the helmet." She had done that once back at the academy, during zero g training, now it's a recurring nightmare every time she puts on one of these suits.

Over her comm she hears the captain, his voice cool, but with a hint of urgency. "Give me a report lieutenant; helm control remains offline, and I need control of my ship back. What's your time frame for full restoration of computer control?"

"I'm just reaching the core now sir, I'll need a few minutes to trouble shoot. But I'll bet when we blew that phase compensator on the plasma manifold, it caused a power surge, and tripped the breakers on the core. Hopefully re-initializing the core from protected memory will bring critical systems back online."

"I want helm control back in five minutes, lieutenant."

"Yes sir, I'll do my best sir."
