Yeah, still loving the Mysterious Stranger...
Again if you have not seen this wonderfully CREEPY and unnerving clip you should watch it!!Welcome to the Mysterious Stranger!
Managed to color my interpretation of the Mysterious Stranger! And I have to say I prefer him with a bit of color thrown on! = D (Here is the Original Sketch )
I'm actually quite pleased with it despite it being very simple but that's 'ok'. I WAS thinking about adding some vague bluish smokey wings behind him but I ran out of steam and couldn't bring myself to keep working on this. I wondered if that wouldn't be too much anyways. =3
Oh and because it likely isn't obvious I'm going to point out that the image on Satan's drapery is a depiction of his and other angels fall from grace.
Falling stars = falling angels. Big star = Satan. Simple neh?
I thought it only appropriate for him to have to wear something to remind him eternally of it.

You ain't a woofin there that's why I love it for what it is. It's interesting how heavy subjects can be interjected into kid's flicks not that it's a new twist or nothing since there's plenty of them out there.Β Makes me wonder how i ever missed it as a kid. Well, maybe I DO know. Kids = short attentionspan.

I've had this favorited for a long while, and I don't know why I didn't comment on it before. Anyway, it's awesome! So is the video! Awesome awesome awesome awesome! I was flipping through my older favorites, found this again, rewatched the link, don't know how I forgot about it, and it inspired me to write a poem and I'll probably write a few more about it. It's awesome!

Wow, I love this, and I love the video clip. Have you read the unfinished novella? It's a bit different than the clip, but just as creepy. you don't wanna try to buy it, you can look it up online and read it on some website. (The Satan from the story was named after his uncle, the Fallen One. I loved that part of the story.)

Great! I'm doing my final art project on the Mysterious Stranger and need all the reference I can get. One thing though, the Stranger is called Satan but he is not the Devil. The Devil sinned so the "I can do no wrong" quote wouldn't make sense.
In the original story, he claims to be the nephew of Satan.
