Description
Question- If a Mairon cries alone and chained in the dark of the Halls of Mandos and no one is there, does he really make a sound? I guess he has his tears for company. Tears enough to form a pool of regret, remorse, and bitterness.Due to being made aware of an angsty contest prompt over on Month of Mairon's tumblr I felt a need to join in. I mean, I love angst. I love Mairon. I love putting the two together.
So I just thought I'd toy around with what could eventually happen to Mairon after his fall should he be scooped up by the Valar.Black and White:

Oh yeah, now we can get to all those details Tumblr's resolution is too crappy to access! Poor Maia, he looks so precarious and discomforted! I think I'm developing an obsession with freckles hitherto unsuspected in my sub-conscious - and I'm blaming you, ha! I agree with the blogger who says you should experiment with color more often - you've got a lovely eye for tones and shading...the angst ripples out in waves of despair and grief! Thank you so much! I never realized how much I needed nekkid Mairon in my life 'til now!

LOL. Blame me (or Valinwhore. or the hundred other artists that give Mai freckles. XP) all you want for your freckle obsession. I can't help that I like tiny fleshy blemishes. Ohhhh, I'm considering experimenting with color some more. I've had a few people I know personally tell me to color more too. We'll see.
