You should make some with the Mandelbulb 3D program. It is free and lots of help is out there with parameters and other help. It is fun to work with too. [link]

Not straight out of the program - You have to do different calculations etc to get this. No FX work - Just straight raw fractals. It is a free fun program and a great tutorial. If you are on Mac you can't use it from I have heard. That only took 18 minutes to render at that size.
