You are going against the concepts of the series. Even if this was the case and you are putting Charizard against Greymon, you'd be putting a wild animal against an intelligent one. And you are somewhat wrong about taking years to digivolve. "Anger and/or the necessity to survive in a great battle can often spur digivolution." And a fierce fighter like Greymon would fight to survive. Heck, it has a digivolution that is supposed to be one that was so into fighting that it kept going, despite any and all soft tissue rotting away! Nor to mention when strong enough, Digimon can maintain stronger forms to the point they can be a default, so by the second series, it can be possible that Greymon could naturally become Metal or War Greymon

It is more similiar to Burst Mode.

They do take a long time to digivolve, otherwise the digidestined would not be necessary for digivolving. It states in the manga. I am not saying Greymon cannot naturally digivolve. But one of rules here is no digivolving/evolving. Plus Greymon is more than enough to rip Charizard into pieces.

Goku can transform at will. Digimon and Pokemon normally don't evolve at will. And I am not the creator of this series. There is no point arguing with me. If pokemon and digimon are allowed to evolve, pokemon is in a disadvantage. The artist is taking request from our people to create this artworks. And why you want Greymon to evolve? The creator of this series is the one who creates the rules. Of course it will take a long time for a wild Charmander to evolve into a Charizard. But the creator want to make this fights debatable. So no humans, otherwise it have to be specified. For the sake of the fight, no evolution. Honestly even without digivolving, Greymon still have a upper hand against. And for the sake of a fight, this is a fight between a wild Charizard and a wild Greymon. And why you arguing with me? I already say Greymon wins. You are literally arguing with your own side.

Greymon are about three times bigger than Charizards and even going by Pokemon logic, I think a fire breathing dinosaur is resistant to fire. Not only that, but unlike Charizard, Greymon can still get stronger. Considering everything Greymon ALONE did, Charizard will be the charred one.
Except... they aren't. Digimon can and have entered the real world. Humans have also entered the Digital World for crying out loud. Have you ever watched Digimon?

Yes, both 2015 and 2016 had Digimon games. The one that came out in 2015 and has very good scores.
But still how can you compare with a game that is the exact same as the 20 that came before it and are clearly running out of ideas for designs to the point they made a pokemon made of rubbish!

Look, I don't hate Pokemon. Hell, Charmander was my first ever Pokemon. I remember losing to Brock and having to evolve Charmander to Charmeleon to fight him. But you have to admit the formula is getting old: Ash goes somewhere, fights gym leaders, meets friends and foes, encounters some Legendary and somehow doesn't become a champion, repeat the process and have a cameo by Team Rocket. Even if you say Digimon is the same, they at lease have a more life threatening plot. The fifth movie had a Digimon called "Armageddemon", can't get more "pants to be darkened" with a Digimon like that. Also, this is a good example of debunking your "only digital" claim as in the same movie, Diaboramon sent thousands of his baby form "Kuramon" into the real world as it would be easier than sending himself.

1.Of course the only example for bad pokemon designs is trubish. Consider this, there is a concept in Japanese folklore that all objects have a spirit, and if you mistreat that object (Don't dispose of it properly) then in can come alive and will take out it's anger on humans. Don't go calling something uncreative until you actually know about the thought process behind it.

2.Pokemon has been going through a series of soft reboots practically since the second generation and the most recent pokemon games Sun and Moon have different approach to the formula focusing more on story.

3.I honestly don't care about the pokemon Anime, but I've heard the recent stuff is pretty good and they have made a Youtube exclusive anthology aimed towards the fans who have been with the series for the whole 20 years going stronger than ever.

4.Pokemon has also had Armageddon and Apocalypse events...have you even picked one up since Red and Blue?

5. I just don't care what happened in Digimon, you can block me if you want to, I just don't want to talk to you. Please go pick a fight with someone else who gives a fuck.
