Description A quick tutorial for people who are just starting to learn how to draw in the HTF style.

Some people say that tracing helps people learn faster but I don't think it does. I think it is best to try and copy a pose by free hand instead of tracing over the top. Tracing won't make you improve since even a baby can trace a line on paper.
If you eye ball a pose and use grid lines then this helps you understand the proportions in your pictures and makes it easier to apply pose's and features onto other drawings in the future!

i say bases is best used for coloring/slading practice

Personally I think using a base limits how a person can improve.
A baby can trace over an image, you learn a lot better by using a technique that involves skill. Even if the image you draw isn't 100% accurate it can still be used for colouring and shading.
But it's all up to the person drawing in the end haha

Haha yes! This can be used for much larger art works as well, at school i used it to di life drawing and drawings from photos to scale them up and things like that, it's a lot more helpfull then just traceing over a picture.
