Yeah Mikisugi is a bit too old for Ryuko but he looks like he is only around 25 and he certainly has the heart of a youngster xD It's actually good to have an age difference of about 6-7 years so I don't have a problem with shipping them :3

Personally I interpreted Mako's kiss to Ryuuko as just more of Mako's craziness, it really shows what a great ship it is when a yuri-loving guy like me ignores Yuri-ship and goes for the Het one XD Besides knowing Mako she might just propose sharing.
