The world in which this film is produced has Life Fibers on it's own, though they are not nearly as destructive as in the "Kill la Kill" and are pretty much pure symbionts.
Soichiro Kiryuin still makes Senketsu as some sort of an experiment (Kamui with ability to evolve over time), Senketsu becomes sentient on the first activation. Some time after, Kiryuin family, along with Senketsu, Junketsu, Shinra-Koketsu, Nui Harime (Ragyo's experiment at using Life Fibers as an artificial womb, was later adopted in the Kiryuin family, still very life-happy and somewhat crazy, but not as nearly psycho as in the "Kill la Kill") and Rei Hououmaru participates in the filming "Kill la Kill" series, in which Ragyo is a very dark and twisted version of herself, Soichiro is dead and so on.
COVERS in this world are just "robots" or piloted "suits", made from the Life Fibers and are used for a wide range of jobs because of their resilience and abilities.
Primordial Life Fiber here is either completely passive or actually cooperative towards humans, hoping, that their technology will help it spread Life Fibers across the universe more effective than ever.
REVOCS Corporation here exists and is the most well-faring one, because their Life Fiber-based products (Goku Uniforms, Kamuis, COVERS and many others) are bought all across the world in great quantities. Also, every REVOCS-produced product will always have some Life Fibers in it (no less than 2%) and this is openly marketed, because who wouldn't like nearly-undestructible shirt or socks?
The second greatest corporation here is Takarada Conglomerate, which specializes on... well, pretty much everything REVOCS does not produce. The Takarada Bucks is one of the most-used currencies in the world. Kaneo Takarada is still a Dosh King we all know and love, except with far greater influence.

Shinra-Koketsu here is a private experiment of Ragyo Kiryuin and Nui Harime in producing the next generation of Life
Fiber-based clothing, except not based on existing Kamui design and free of feedback problems.
Because of how expensive this shit is (a single Shinra costs as much as fifty Kamui), the only produced entity of this type is Shinra-Koketsu, which is a private property of Ragyo Kiryuin and is marked as "undergoing field testing".
Shinra-Koketsu, being highly-advanced Life Fiber clothing, is sentient, like the high-end Kamuis, such as Senketsu and Junketsu. It's also really arrogant, up to the point of calling Senketsu and Junketsu "rags in Kamui clothing" on regular basis, which in turn call her "wing-eyed bathrobe". Thankfully, it's absolutely obedient to Ragyo in everything else.
