Interesting. It's fascinating to see how these objects, up close, seem to resemble and hint at other structures. I think the bottom picture is more aesthetic and has more in it than the top one.

Brilliant shot; I like the fact that it causes the viewer to take the time to think about something they take for granted on a daily basis. The level of detail really seems to bring the subject to life, particularly considering that people in most situations (myself included) probably just throw on clothes, shoes and the like without a second thought as to what goes into making them or the basic purposes that they serve in their day-to-day lives.
