Description
I'm participating in the peacock themed My Little Pony custom swap at the MLP Arena so I've been in the mood for drawing these birds lately... and I also needed some practice before starting on the pony, the few quick sketches I made when designing the custom are probably the first peacock drawings I've ever made.

And because a fancy bird needs a fancy background, I looked for some inspiration in the works by Alphonse Mucha, mainly The Rose in the Flower series as you can probably guess.
